English Premier League club Cardiff City's record new signing, Argentina striker Emiliano Sala, was on board a light aircraft feared missing off the Channel Islands on Monday night, the French civil aviation authorities confirmed yesterday. Sala was flying to Cardiff aboard a small plane that disappeared from radars around 20km north of Guernsey. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing.Security agencies have continued to maintain vigilance as the terrorism threat to Singapore remains high, the Ministry of Home Affairs said in its Singapore Terrorism Threat Assessment Report. It said the public must continue to stay alert and be prepared that a terrorist attack might one day succeed.
